As you know, the European elections on 6 to 9 June 2024 will represent an important moment for millions of European citizens - including the students from the UNICA member universities!
In light of the elections, UNICA is organising the "Vote for Europe" video competition to spotlight the thoughts and voices of students and raise awareness for the democratic processes that have the potential to reshape the social impact of universities. The initiative is supported by the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) and the European Students' Union (ESU).
How does it work? Here's what you need to know:
- The competition is open to students, regardless of their level, from all UNICA members universities (including those based in non-EU countries)
- Students are invited to form groups of 2 to 5 members and to share their thoughts on the elections in a short video, up to 2 minutes
- Students must submit the video via a WeTransfer link and complete the registration form on the UNICA website, no later than the 31st March
- The top three videos and three honorable mentions will be awarded a symbolic monetary prize!
